The historic Red Stone house was built in 1892 by Oliver Traphagen for Chester and Clara Congdon for them to reside in while their grander home, the Glensheen Mansion, was under construction. In 1975 the home was registered on the National Register of Historic places to preserve this gem of the north indefinitely. Unfortunately, this majestic building fell prey to arson in 2014. Redstone now shines with new life and will provide much needed housing in the area.
This unit is is a well proportioned 2 bedroom with beautiful exposed brick, bluestone walls, and brand new everything! Heated floors through out the unit will keep your feet warm and these chilly winter mornings. The wood floors make this home super easy to keep clean while providing a warm and elegant feel. The details and craftsmanship shine in every surface! Just when you think it can't get any better, It has its own private patio!
