The rates shown on our Rent List are DISCOUNTED and based on agreements with start and end dates that fall just short of a full year. For instance, the most common terms for 2026-2027 leases are between 354 days and 364 days (see below for details). These conform closely with UCSB and SBCC academic calendars. This alignment helps us achieve efficiencies, including accommodating student schedules for both graduation and summer school.
