This spacious studio apartment is across the street from St. Louis University. It's a corner unit on the back of the building, away from street noise, with eastern and northern views of Grand Center. The rental price includes a frost-free refrigerator, 20-inch gas range, heat and air conditioning in the appropriate seasons, and all utilities except internet. The previous resident left a microwave and curtain rods, which we can remove, if you do not want them.

The kitchen and bathroom have been recently updated. The apartment has a separate dining area and a large galley kitchen. There is a ceiling fan in the main room. Electric has been updated throughout the apartment. The entry foyer has bookshelves and two closets.

The large dressing room has electric and is roomy enough for a twin or double bed (possibly a queen — not confirmed), so it could double as a small office or bedroom.

There is a laundry room in the building's basement. Free permit parking is available first-come, first-served, and often fills up. If you can't find a permit space, lots of metered parking is available. Metered parking is free between the hours of 7 PM and 8 AM Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sunday.

You may not need a car to live here. Two supermarkets, all kinds of shopping, pharmacies, coffee houses, restaurants and movie theaters are within walking distance. The location is one of the most central in the city — "20 minutes to anywhere," as the saying goes in St. Louis.

This is a bicycle- and pet-friendly apartment building. You are welcome to take your bicycle on the elevator up to your apartment.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises.

If you do not have your own renter's insurance, there is an additional $10.50 per month charge for "Tenant Liability Insurance." This insurance covers accidental damages to the premises, but not to your personal belongings.
