Come join our family-oriented shared 4bed/3bath tri-level house in South Salt Lake (500E and 2500S)! We are located on a multicultural residential block with a park/pickleball court/playground/community center and within walking/biking distance to Sugarhouse, restaurants, groceries, and other errands. Freeway access is minutes away and Big Cottonwood Canyon is 15 minutes away. We have one of the most culturally diverse blocks with Asian, Black, Latino and white neighbors that we know by name. The house is filled w/lots of light, newer/efficient construction and amenities (including solar panels).
Large furnished master bedroom with south-facing windows, full private/ensuite bath and spacious walk-in closet available. House has three floors so everyone is spread out and has space. The house is clean, quiet and uncluttered. We clean up our messes as we make them, share house chores, conserve/recycle/keep a small footprint thermostat setting, and are shoe-free inside the house. We communicate to help each other out with errands, check in on how life's going, and alert each other when there are treats to be enjoyed on the kitchen counter =). We mindfully have guests over and check with each other if there's anything worth considering. We stay in touch with past housemate friends. No smoking, drugs or illegal activities anywhere on the property. Every long-stay housemate must clear a DCFS background check.
"Vegan house" means no animal food products in the shared areas of the house. You are free to have whatever you like in your own room in terms of snacks/delivery but there is no cooking/reheating of animal products in the kitchen.
