Holding Deposit: Equal to one month’s rent
The holding deposit is conditionally refundable:
If the landlord cancels or decides not to rent, the deposit will be fully refunded within 21 business days.
If the applicant fails to sign the lease or take possession by the agreed date, the deposit may be retained in full or in part as liquidated damages for lost rental time, marketing, and administrative costs.
If the lease is signed as agreed, the holding deposit is credited toward the security deposit.
