Have dinner and see a movie nearby and come home in 15 minutes. Enjoy the tree lined street and the elegant homes on an evening walk. Hear the owl hooting softly as you enter the driveway. Walk by the fennel-lined peach stucco wall with lights that turn on at dusk. Cross over to the paver stone walkway, up the stairs, and enjoy the view in all directions. The wood beams overhead diminish the intense light on a sunny day. More succulents are in pots on the deck. Enter through a custom wood front door with a keyless entry.
Once inside, the high ceiling with exposed wood beam is an amazing sight. The living area to the left allows you to rest, watch TV, or sit with friends. On the right is a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a travertine floor, stone counters, and walnut cabinets. Out the window you have a great view especially when the sun is setting. A full bathroom is opposite the kitchen and has a cabinet, plus shelves, and an operable window with privacy glass above the tiles of the shower/tub near the ceiling.
The storage bed is located between 2 windows on the south wall and has a nearby dresser and closet for clothes. Bedding and towels are either in the storage bed or storage bench. A wood desk faces the east wall and has wall lights nearby.
Downstairs beyond the garage is a laundry room and bathroom, also with a window containing privacy glass. The stacked washer/dryer unit are energy efficient and stainless steel.
Surrounding the unit are concrete steppingstones that go by planters of flowers, vegetables, and herbs. The stucco wall with lights wraps around the back with smaller lights on the planters. The succulent ground cover is Dymondia. Occasionally, you may see birds, squirrels and other wildlife on the wall or flying around the garden. The covered patio, and ADU deck has furniture to use and enjoy being outside.
