The rental price includes a large gas range, frost-free refrigerator, air conditioning and heat in the appropriate seasons, and all utilities except Internet & cable. The apartment retains its charming original detailing, including lots of closet space and abundant vintage cabinetry.

Updates include new lighting and electric service throughout, including a ceiling fan in the main room. This particular apartment overlooks the building's private courtyard is available for residents to enjoy. A large laundry room with coin-operated machines is available in the building's basement.

Parking is available in the building's heated garage for an additional $50 per month (please ask for current availability). Scooters, motorcycles and bicycles may be parked in the garage at no additional charge, though you must pay a deposit for a remote control.

You may not need a motor vehicle to live here. The location is a short walk to the city's best-served public transit line. Within walking distance are grocery stores, many restaurants, bars and shops on both South Grand and Cherokee Street, and all the amenities of a great urban center.

Please note that there is an additional fee of $9.50 per month for "Tenant Liability Insurance." Such insurance covers accidental damages to the apartment and the building, but not to personal possessions.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises. This is a bicycle-friendly apartment building.
