NEW OWNERS: Finally, the new owners have over half a century of experience with property ownership and know how to treat their residents right. They have nice homes, a maintenance crew, and use an online property management system. This means that issues are few and far between, but when they do happen, they are documented immediately and sent to the appropriate people to solve the problem and/or get repairs done quickly. You will be able to use your online tenant portal to submit service requests, check your billing and payment history, communicate with the management team, and pay your rent instantly, seeing that everything you pay has been accepted and deposited. We are doing this right by offering nice homes at competitive prices and backing it all up with excellent property management.
The landlord covers the cost of the landscaping in the common areas, but you would be responsible for maintaining your own fenced backyard. All utilities are also covered by the tenant. You have your own meters, so you only pay for what you use. If you choose to bring a well-loved and cared-for furry pet, we allow up to 3, provided you have a signed pet agreement from the landlord. Pet Rent is $25 per pet, per month, plus an initial pet fee of $250. Our insurance does limit certain types of pet dogs that are considered "vicious breeds", so contact us in advance so you don't find out after you've spent time looking at the property.
We have a strict NO SMOKING policy for the indoor areas of ALL Big Sky Homes properties. The application fee is $35.00 per person who is 18 years old or older. We do NOT accept applicants with past evictions or who owe money to past landlords. Our minimum income threshold for these homes is three times the rent. If your combined income is less than 3x the rent, your application cannot be approved. We do follow all fair housing guidelines, as well as local, county, state, and federal housing laws.
