Nestled in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from BYU campus and walking distance from Utah Valley Hospital , this 1 bedroom home on a corner lot has all the charm from the 1950s with all the style, function and convenience of modern-day living and ready for you to move in immediately. This home boasts of central air conditioning, updated plumbing, electrical, doors, hardware, trim, paint, flooring and much more. It is a 1-story brick twin home/duplex that looks like a single-family home. The front living room, and we may suggest your dining area as well because the room is so massive, is light and bright with a huge picture window, and modern lighting, flooring, trim and paint. The master bedroom, where we decided to keep the original hardwood flooring, has floor-to-ceiling closets to give you plenty of storage and also has good sized window allowing tons of natural light. It also has a closet on the south side of the bedroom. The bathroom has been completely remodeled (we did keep the original cast iron tub) with tile, tub surround sink, toilet, and mirror (you can't tell by the picture but the mirror opens up to a medicine cabinet built into the wall). Overlooking the fully-fenced backyard, we have made sure this kitchen has utilized every square inch of space and have spared no expense in the finishing touches. The quartz countertops, oversized sink, white cabinetry and a herring bone tile backsplash gives this home a luxurious and bright feel. It has a stainless steel microwave, gas range, full size fridge and freezer, and we were even able to squeeze in a dishwasher in here as well! Tucked in the back corner nook behind the kitchen is a front-loading washer and dryer. There are a few things that have been updated since we took photos that you don't see in the pictures (i.e. the stackable front-loading dryer and window coverings). The sizable and completely fenced-in back yard has a deck you can share with the next-door tenants. The yard has mature fruit trees which provides incredible shade from the sun. As far as location goes, it doesn't get better than this. Close to UTA bus stops, the Provo River Trail, grocery shopping, BYU campus, Utah Valley Hospital and plenty of restaurants, you may not need to use your car much. For parking, two spots on the driveway are yours (one behind the other), as well as ample street parking in front of the home closer to the front door if you find that to be more convenient. The square footage is an approximation so you'll want to check out the home in person to determine for yourself the size of it (we tried to err on the small side). As this home was renovated with quality craftsmanship and careful detail, we are only interested in the most serious of renters with excellent references who will take care of this home and keep it in beautiful condition. You will be expected to share lawn-care responsibilities with the neighbors. Interested applicants need to fill out an application. A non-refundable rent initiation fee of $100 will be due in addition to a refundable (upon move-out) deposit of $1000, in addition to first month's rent.
