6bd, 3ba in Taylorsville, UT near 47th , Redwood Rd, 215, and I-15.  The rooms for rent are both in the basement. We currently have a gym, office, guest room, living room, family room, laundry room, and kitchen in addition to these rooms for rent. The yard is large with a big patio, smaller front patio, large vegetable/flower garden, waterwise landscaping with fruit trees and berry bushes.  We don't use unsafe pesticides or herbicides in the garden or berries and avoid it where possible for the trees. The backyard has a ½ basketball court. We setup a 12x20 pool when we're not in a drought. We typically share tools, craft supplies, canning supplies, and other items freely with respectful roommates.

Us

We're a 40yr old newly married, progressive/liberal straight couple that strongly believes in human rights. We both work full-time. I work from the office 2-3 days a week. We enjoy outdoors, board games, Utah Jazz basketball, and travel. We have a loving and silly 8yr old labradoodle and a 13yr old grumpy cat.  We host game nights or craft nights twice a month, and love having people over more often when we can keep up with all of the prepping and cleaning it takes. We have a house cleaner who comes once a month. We are allies of immigrants and LGBTQIA+. Our last 3 roommates were part of these communities. 2 of them have lived with us for 5 and 6 years respectively but have moved on due to life milestones. We can keep to ourselves upstairs but would like to develop a friendship or community with the new roommates.

25-45, progressive or liberal, social, but not a party animal, clean, and respectful. We prefer women or members of the LGBTQIA+ community. A dog that gets along with ours is negotiable. Sorry, no more cats. This is a great fit for good friends, a couple, or a single parent with a child, that just needs more space or an opportunity to garden. You must be able to pass a background check and show income 2x the rent. Deposit is $350 per room.
