AVENUES VINTAGE * circa 1905 * AVAILABLE SOON !
Beautiful Avenues property designed and built in 1905. We believe this section of the building was part of the formal dining room of the original mansion due to architectural details--like coffered ceilings, stained glass windows, and the white oak hardwood floors (instead of the fir floors found throughout the rest of the building).
The unit also has really tall ceilings, some exposed brick wall, mosaic tile floors (in the bathroom), a huge, framed, custom bath mirror, restored claw foot tub, and a pedestal sink.
If you are looking for a peaceful, warm, sunny, space, this unit--with its western exposure & tall windows--might just b your spot. Size-wise it is perfect for one person--but a little tight for two. The closet is a fair size for an apartment of this vintage and type--and there is also a ton of extra storage in the basement below... but again, perfect for one person--a little tight for two.
The bedroom, living, and kitchen walls are painted a light sage color; the trim is Antique White; the bathroom is kind of a light, warm yellow (pale sunflower).
This unit also has its own back porch--which is really hard to find: perfect for a comfy chair, or a hammock.
And there is also plenty of extra storage and a laundry facility in the basement... so, anything that won't fit in this unit can easily be stowed below... lik bikes, boards, blades, boxes, suitcases, extra furniture, seasonal items, etc.
Pets available case by case with commensurate deposit. (Prefer cat only if any, but will consider smaller to medium, quiet dog in this unit since it is on the first level.)
This is one of the nicer vintage apartments you will find anywhere in SLC. Internet is included in the monthly utils, which are divided up between all the units each month. (With the water, gas, trash, electric, AND high speed internet, utils typically average around $95/month for this unit this --which is super cheap.)
This is not student housing. We don't do co-signers. And we generally rent to professionals, college grads, nurses, people with good jobs, good rental history, etc. That's our jam. But, of course, we will consider any and all qualified applicants.
Reply with questions and/or to schedule a showing. In your reply, tell me a bit about yourself and what you are looking for... your ideal move-in date... any pets... etc--to save time going back and forth.
