Located in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, Halifax Lofts is a restored school which offers a park-like setting surrounded by mature trees and beautiful landscaping. Situated in a historic location within the Town of Halifax, the Halifax Lofts are a short walk from area shops and restaurant. The property itself is rich with history, amenities, hardwood and terrazzo floors and some historic chalkboards too! Live here to enjoy elegant floor plans with skillfully-planned kitchens and splendid baths including refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a personal washer and dryer in every unit. Halifax Lofts offers convenient parking, ample closet space, lots of sunlight from large windows and so much more!!! The historic features were preserved and highlighted as this redevelopment utilized federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credits, so the redevelopment design was overseen by both the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and the federal National Park Service.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

The rent includes water, trash, sewer, and high-speed Internet. Electric and any cable TV service are upon the resident to establish. We are a very pet-friendly community, but there are breed restrictions. Please inquire regarding pet policy details prior to touring if this is a concern.

PET POLICY:

In terms of dogs, only certain “bite breeds” are prohibited while most other dog breeds are warmly welcomed. Banned breeds include: Pit Bulls, Pit Bull Hybrids, Dobermans, Chows, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dalmatian, Huskies, Malamutes, Presa Canarios, Cano Corsos, and any other breed deemed aggressive. There is a one-time non-refundable $500 pet fee (per pet), but we don’t have a monthly pet rent nor a separate pet deposit. There are other rules and regulations in the lease needing your thorough review, but some of the major lease restrictions are regarding number (2 pets per unit is the limit) and respective weights (70 lbs. per pet is generally the limit).
