Hello everyone! We are looking for a fifth roommate in our 5-person household: PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY:
$780 (+ utilities ~$50-70)/mo. This room is paid for through 12/15—these next few weeks will be free to you if you move in before then.

We are looking for a responsible, communicative person who appreciates affordable rent in Boulder to join our 5-person household. We prefer someone who is looking for long-term housing, and we’re giving preference to female applicants (for balance).
The house is a 5-bedroom, 2-bath ranch house with basement in North Boulder, Palo Park Neighborhood. The house is conveniently located between 28th St/Hwy 36 and Foothills Parkway, giving quick access to all areas of town.
5 housemates share this house. We keep common areas clean, with a rotating chore chart. We strive to maintain a good kitchen flow by cleaning up after ourselves, so that the kitchen is clean and ready for the next person to use, with surfaces, sinks and appliances clean and clutter-free.
Each household member rents on a month-to-month basis under a Roommate Agreement regarding house norms and general expectations. The house has maintained a good relationship with the landlord for 6+ years, able to reach out with questions, taking care of what we can.
Roommates are expected to be able to communicate actively and self-advocate in a responsible and respectful manner, so bonus points for conflict resolution and Non-Violent Communication. Prefer no smoking indoors nor odors nor evidence of smoking in the form of paraphernalia left lying around.

About the house:
Upstairs: A main living room,dining room, kitchen and a sun room/shared office space. 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.
Basement: 2 bedrooms, a lounge area with a crafting/art table, a wet bar, extra fridge, and a bathroom with a shower. The lounge area leads into a living room area – currently set up as a movie room with projector. The 2nd bedroom has the laundry room attached to it, and we coordinate with the resident of this room to do laundry.
Yard: There is a large backyard, with a deck attached to the sun room, a fire pit, and some garden beds (points for avid gardeners).
Garage: Storage space for your bikes/skis/etc. Parking in the 2-car driveway and on the street.

About us:
There are currently 4 of us, all in our 20s, 1 female and 3 males, all on career trajectories in STEM, sociable but not rowdy, cooperating on household responsibilities and maintaining respect for quiet hours 10pm-7am. LGBTQ+ friendly. Two work from home occasionally.
