We have three rooms available in our clean, comfortable 5 bed / 3 bath home in Millcreek. It’s a warm, lived-in house with great common spaces: a cozy living room with a fireplace, an open kitchen with an island, a bright dining area, plus a finished basement hangout (~400 sq ft) with a couch + table/chairs (and space if you want to add your own furniture). One guest bedroom is reserved for visitors and will NOT be rented, so the house won’t feel packed.
First, about the location: this is one of the best parts of Millcreek — super convenient but still neighborhood-y and quiet. You’re close to Brickyard / Millcreek Commons for groceries, coffee, restaurants, bars, and gym options. It’s also an easy hop to Sugar House and downtown, and you’ve got quick access to the freeways for getting up to Big/Little Cottonwood, Park City. If you’re into hiking/skiing/gym life, it’s a great!
About the rooms/house: the upstairs bedroom is $900/month and is approximately 11'1" x 10'6". It has a dedicated bathroom across the hall (not shared with the basement rooms).
The larger basement bedroom is $850/month and is approximately 14'1" x 10'10".
The smaller basement bedroom is $800/month and is approximately 12'9" x 10'6".
The two basement rooms share a bathroom, and both have easy access to the finished basement hangout/flex space (~400 sq ft).
House highlights include a big comfy living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with an island and tons of cabinet space, a bright dining room with a vaulted ceiling/skylight feel and backyard views, a covered patio and backyard that’s great for summer hangs, and laundry on site.
Lease & logistics: month-to-month lease, deposit is one month’s rent, and utilities are split among roommates (gas/electric/water/internet). No smoking. There is a small friendly cat in the house (indoor/outdoor). No additional pets, please.
About us: we just turned 30, and we love hanging out with each other, having periodic shared dinners, and inviting our friends over for BBQs, board game nights, movie nights, and other fun social gatherings. We do have an occasional bigger gathering like 4th of July BBQ, Pie and Beer day, friendsgiving, etc, but definitely no ragers. We are active and outdoorsy — skiing/boarding running, tennis, playing ultimate frisbee, etc. We’re open-minded and non-judgmental/accepting of other people’s lifestyles, and would love to have new skiing/lifting/running partners. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Finally, about you: we’re looking for roommates who are employed/financially responsible, low-drama, considerate about shared spaces, and generally friendly. Everyone is welcome to their own time and space, but we’d love to live with people who are down to be cordial and occasionally social.
